Arrival

Day 1

Welcome to Rwanda

Arrive in Rwanda’s welcoming capital — Kigali.
Enjoy VIP assistance at the airport, including help with immigration and luggage, before meeting your private Nandi Adventures guide. Transfer to your hotel and unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, explore Kigali’s elegant streets or enjoy dinner overlooking the city lights.

Day 2

Rwanda’s Story & Scenic Drive to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, begin your day with a guided Kigali City Tour — including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, an emotional and deeply inspiring experience that tells the story of Rwanda’s journey from tragedy to unity and hope.

Then embark on a 3-hour scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, with picturesque hillsides and smiling locals along the way.
Arrive at your lodge nestled at the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes for a relaxed evening of rest and reflection.

Day 3

Face to Face with the Mountain Gorillas

Wake early for one of life’s most profound experiences — Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
After a briefing with your ranger guides, begin your trek through the lush montane forest. Depending on the gorilla family’s location, your hike may take 3–7 hours.

Then, the moment arrives: you find yourself face-to-face with a gorilla family. Watch the silverback command the group, mothers nurture their young, and juveniles play in the misty undergrowth. It’s humbling, emotional, and deeply connecting — a reminder of our shared bond with nature.

Return to your lodge for a warm meal and relaxation. Optional activities include a massage, birdwatching, or storytelling by the fire.

Day 4

Return to Kigali & Departure

Enjoy breakfast before your private 3-hour drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, explore local art galleries, coffee shops, or souvenir boutiques.
